On Driving Music - Part 2

Just following up - I did not listen to any Barry Manilow songs on the way to work this morning. But Weekend in New England is probably my favorite of his songs. I don't like Copacabana. Or at least I don't like it enough to have it in my iPod.

That song is goofy.

Copacabana is a great song.

Right now I am listening to my Ipod at my desk at work and America is playing.

I decided this morning to start with the ABBA and go alphabetically through my Ipod while I work.

So far today, I have heard ABBA, AC/DC and most of America's greatest hits.

As soon as I get through one song by Appolonia and Prince and the Best of Bachman-Turner-Overdrive, I will be headed into the Barry Manilow tunes.

As you can see the Ipod sorts by first name, not last name first.

Just please don't tell me Anne Murray is among the shuffle.

No Anne Murray...but there are the Carpenters.

Why do birds suddenly appear, every time you are near?

But, before I get to the Carpenters, I have to listen to:

Barry Manilow
Bee Gees
Billie Holliday
Billy Joel
Billy Squier
Black Crowes
Black Eyed Peas
Bob Marley (roughly 7 hours of this)
Boston
Bread AND
Buddy Holly

I will not have to worry about the Carpenters for several days.

Flamingo - Did your ipod skip over Badfinger and Bloodhound Gang?

I just got my ipod a week ago. I have yet to get any Badfinger or Bloodhound gang.

I also do not yet have any Alice Cooper or Alice in Chains or any other such Alice music.

I do have 4 days of music on this thing already - 1398 back to back, commercial free songs.

Coincidentally, as I type this, "Looks Like We Made It" is playing!

Garrett, I feel some sort of a bond.

Oops, "Daybreak" just started.

I have "Daybreak" on my iPod as well. That's another one that's fun to sing along to.

What about "Weekend in New England"? When can I hold you again, you dreamy bird?

Weird coincidence, but I now have a song called "Ballad of the Three Amigos" on my Ipod.

On the BeeGees make sure to enjoy "I've Just Got to Get a Message to You", which is their finest work.

Barry Manilow is boring.

Thanks, by the way, for butchering an attempt at 50% fiction.
