SPECIAL NOTE: In my view, Dr. Paul's response to John Roberts' question (this exchange occurs at about the 3 minute, 35 second point of the video of the CNN American Morning segment) whether Dr. Paul can be a good Republican if he doesn't support John McCain, is perfect.

I hear him saying that the Republican party should be a party of principles and not of candidates. In the same way that American is supposed to be a nation of laws and not of men.
